Feeling Stressed Out? You’re Not Alone (and There’s Hope!)

Studies show that a whopping 73% of adults in the U.S. experience some form of stress in a given month, and that stress can affect our health, happiness, and productivity.

The thing about stress is that it’s different for everyone. For you, maybe it’s a looming deadline that makes your stomach churn. For someone else, it’s juggling childcare with a demanding job. No matter what triggers your stress, one thing’s for sure: ignoring it won’t make it go away.

That’s where Stress Mastery comes in.

Imagine feeling calm, focused, and in control—even when things get crazy. That’s the power of Stress Mastery.

For over twenty years, I’ve helped individuals and teams conquer stress. And it’s not just for individuals! I’ve also partnered with numerous organizations to implement the Workplace Stress Mastery Program, helping entire teams identify and manage stress, leading to a more productive and positive work environment.

Whether you’re a leader drowning in decisions or a parent juggling a million hats, I can help you:

  • Identify your stress triggers before they turn into full-blown meltdowns.
  • Develop healthy coping mechanisms to ditch the stress sweats for good.
  • Feel empowered, not exhausted.

Think of it like this: every stress situation has a beginning, middle, and end. The beginning is the trigger – that looming deadline, the unexpected crisis, the never-ending stream of emails. The middle is the emotional rollercoaster – frustration, anxiety, the urge to hide and eat an entire bag of cookies.

Here’s where the magic happens. By analyzing your stress story, you can identify your triggers before they become full-blown meltdowns.

Are you a “deadline disaster” waiting to happen?

Maybe some time management tricks are all you need.

Does “decision fatigue” leave you feeling paralyzed?

Simple pro-and-con lists could be your sidekick.

Mastering your stress story is all about understanding yourself. Here are some quick tips to get you started:

  • The Power of Pause: Before reacting impulsively, take a DEEP BREATH. Ask yourself: “Is this reaction helpful?” A quick pause helps you stay calm and collected, not a stressed-out mess.
  • The “Quick-Calm” Minute: Feeling overwhelmed? Take a mental break. Focus on your five senses – what do you see, hear, touch, smell, and taste? This simple exercise brings you back to the present moment and helps you regain control.
  • The “I Feel” Statement: Need to address something stressing you out? Use “I feel” statements to communicate calmly – “I feel overwhelmed when…” This approach focuses on your feelings and keeps the conversation productive.

Understanding your stress story and using these simple tools can transform your stress into focus and energy.

I will help you understand your story with an online stress assessment questionnaire called SMQ. It takes around 15-20 minutes to complete, and you will receive a 30-minute one-on-one session with a stress mastery expert to discuss your report and receive your personal stress relief roadmap.
